What does EA mean for you?

The In-Depth EA fellowship is a follow-up to the Intro Fellowship. Having learned the principles behind the EA approach, our six-week program aims to deepen your personal understanding of what you consider highly impactful and why. At the end of the fellowship, we hope you will have a better sense of how you can start applying EA principles to your own life.

Questions that you will grapple with include,

  • How do I know what I think I know?

  • What do I morally value?

  • How should I plan my career?

  • Should I focus on near-term impact or long-term impact?

  • How do I account for the indirect effects of my actions?

  • What’s the risk of human extinction this century?

The first three weeks cover considerations for implementing EA principles. Afterwards, your group will choose one cause for each week to conduct deep dives in.
